Ahuja Backdoors a Flush, Paduano Angry At Clock Being Called

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ankit Ahuja
Ankit Ahuja

Arturo Paduano opened to 4,000 from under the gun and Ankit Ahuja peeled from the small blind.

They saw a flop of A2A where Ahuja check-called a bet of 2,500.

Ahuja went into check-call mode again on the Q turn after Paduano fired 6,000.

When the 7 dropped on the river, Ahuja checked for a third time and Paduano fired 12,000. Ahuja thought about it for a while then stuck in a raise to 60,000, which seemed to confuse Paduano as he took his sunglasses off and analyzed the board. After what seemed like a minute, Alexandru Farcasanu called the clock on Paduano.

"You take ten minutes every hand," said Farcasanu. Paduano wasn't happy and argued that it was a big pot and he hadn't had enough time to think, and that he shouldn't be put on a countdown. The floor came over but before they could initiate the count, Paduano called.

Ahuja showed K2 for a backdoored flush, and Paduano frustratingly flipped over A10 for trip aces.

Girard on the Right Side of Cooler

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Hugues Girard and Andrei Birgaoanu just got all-in preflop with Girard being the player at risk.

Hugues Girard: AA All in
Andrei Birgaoanu: KK

A cooler in favor of Girard, and when the 3A4 flop fell, Girard could only lose to running cards. The 8 turn left Birgaoanu drawing dead as an inconsequential 6 came on the river.
