Beltran Puts Vizi to the Test
Level 20
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Pablo Beltran made it 40,000 from the hijack with Robert Vizi calling on the button, Stylianos Karadaglis calling out of the small blind, and Alberto Speranzoni defending his big blind.
After the blinds checked the 7♣7♦7♠ flop, Beltran fired out a continuation-bet of 45,000. Vizi quickly raised to 110,000, which forced Karadaglis and Speranzoni to fold. Beltran, however, called to see a turn.
Heads-up to the K♠ turn, which checked through for the 9♠ to roll off on the river. Beltran jammed for Vizi's remaining 320,000, causing Vizi to go into the tank. After burning through all of his time banks, Vizi folded and pleaded for Beltran to reveal his cards.
Beltran didn't, to which Vizi said, "you must have had it then."
