Pansier Busts Javakhishvili to Start Hot

Level 1 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Nino Pansier
Nino Pansier

A pot of 24,000 was in the middle, on a board of KQJ, in a hand between Vakhtang Javakhishvili in the small blind, and Nino Pansier under the gun.

Javakhishvili led out with a bet of 7,000, and Pansier called.

On the 10 turn, Javakhishvili checked. Pansier fired out a pot-sized bet, covering his opponent's remaining stack of around 40,000, and Javakhishvili quickly called.

Vakhtang Javakhishvili: AK1010 All in
Nino Pansier: A8104

Javakhishvili had flopped the straight, as had Pansier, but Pansier was free-rolling with outs to the diamond draw. Javakhishvili could also potentially fill up to a full house with his set of tens.

Sure enough, the 9 hit on the river to send Paniser another big pot, and Javakhishvili to the rail early.

Pansier Busts Shuts and Yankov

Level 3 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Maksim Shuts
Maksim Shuts

In three-way preflop action, Maksim Shuts was all-in for 10,100 on the button and Krasimir Yankov went all-in over the top out of the small blind only for both to get looked up by the early chip leader Nino Pansier.

Maksim Shuts: AJJ3 All in
Krasimir Yankov: AK109 All in
Nino Pansier: AAJ2

The 1084 flop gave Pansier the flush draw on top of his aces while Yankov made one pair. Shuts picked up a gutshot wheel draw on the 5 turn, as did Pansier. However, the 7 river only improved big stack Pansier to a flush and he sent Shuts as well as Yankov to the rail.

Lovric Eliminated by Karakitukov

Level 3 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Filip Lovric
Filip Lovric

Soon after entering the field, Veselin Karakitukov clashed with Filip Lovric when they flipped for stacks on the Q946 turn.

Filip Lovric: QQJ9 All in
Veselin Karakitukov: KQJ10

The wrap and flush draw for Karakitukov hit on the A river and he had Lovric covered to send yet another player to the rail.

"This is a dangerous table," Nino Pansier remarked and Jan-Peter Jachtmann replied that four players had been ousted on this table alone with one further casualty on another table. This happened to be Harald Casagrande, who was spotted on the way out of the tournament area.

Samuel Albeck arrived to balance the field and Pansier said "this is the junk seat," as two players were previously knocked out from the seat that now belongs to Albeck.

Cowen Busts Schlegl

Level 4 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Robert Cowen
Robert Cowen

Filip Lovric opened to 2,500 under the gun, and received calls from Robert Cowen on the button and August Schlegl in the small blind, before Michael Tabarelli produced a three-bet to 14,000 from the big blind.

Lovric and Cowen quickly called, and Schlegl moved all in for his 11,600 total stack.

On the QQ2 flop, action was checked to Cowen, who slid out a bet of 9,000. Tabarelli folded, but Lovric called.

The 10 hit on the turn, and Lovric check-folded versus a bet of 16,500 from Cowen.

August Schlegl: 9783 All in
Robert Cowen: Q8J10

Schlegl was drawing dead versus Cowen's full house, and the 6 river completed the board.

Lampropoulos Doubles via Neugebauer in Cooler

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Nikolaos Lampropoulos
Nikolaos Lampropoulos

A pot of 51,500 had developed by a flop of 1084, in a hand between Max Neugebauer in the cutoff and Nikolaos Lampropoulos on the button.

Neugebauer checked, and Lampropoulos fired out a pot-sized bet. Neugebauer check-jammed with the covering stack, and Lampropoulos quickly called off for his 95,600 total stack.

Nikolaos Lampropoulos: AAQQ All in
Max Neugebauer: KK65

It was an aces versus kings cooler, but Neugebauer had outs to the heart draw. Much to Lampropoulos' relief, the J turn and 2 river were bricks.

Trojand Cracks Cowen

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jeremy Trojand
Jeremy Trojand

Jeremy Trojand and Robert Cowen had both put in 18,400 preflop in a three-bet pot, Trojand from the cutoff and Cowen from the small blind, to see a flop of 1053.

Cowen only had 5,200 behind and moved all in, and Trojand had a quick peek at his cards before calling.

Robert Cowen: AQ84 All in
Jeremy Trojand: K10Q7

Cowen's gutshot draw was in big trouble versus Trojand's top pair and flush draw.

The 8 turn gave Cowen a pair, but the 9 river completed Trojand's flush.

Cowen headed straight for the registration desk to reenter and was given the same seat. Short-stack Filip Lovric also busted at another table.

Lampropoulos Busts Eldabach and Shuts

Level 7 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Dorel Eldabach
Dorel Eldabach

Nikolaos Lampropoulos was one of three players to limp in, and Dorel Eldabach then raised to 7,000 in the big blind. Lampropoulos limp-raised the pot to 25,000, and it folded back to Eldabach, who pushed all in. Lampropoulos called.

Dorel Eldabach: AA107 All in
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: AA63

The J1010 flop gave Eldabach trips tens while Lampropoulos picked up a flush draw, which he missed on the J turn. However, the river brought the 9 and that spelled the end for Eldabach.

Shortly after, Lampropoulos got it in against Maksim Shuts on a 965 flop.

Maksim Shuts: KK94 All in
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: AA32

The 7 turn changed nothing, nor did the Q river, sending Shuts to the rail as well.

"Tilted" Zakharyan Out for Now

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Vadim Zakharyan
Vadim Zakharyan

Jose Scarano and Vadim Zakharyan had 25,600 each in the middle before the K73 flop, on which the remainder of the chips went in.

Jose Scarano: AJ107 All in
Vadim Zakharyan: AAQ7

The 2 turn was a blank, but Scarano spiked the 10 on the river for two pair to double for 43,800.

Zakharyan was all-in for the last 1,800 in the very next hand, getting called by Levani Rozomashvili in the small blind and Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the big blind. On the 952 flop, Rozomashvili bet 5,000 and Jachtmann folded.

Vadim Zakharyan: 10977 All in
Levani Rozomashvili: 6443

The A turn gave Rozomashvili a wheel, instantly leaving Zakharyan drawing dead before the 8 river.

"Very fast tournament," Zakharyan said, and Samuel Albeck replied, "It is not over yet," referring to the late registration until the end of Level 12 on Tuesday.

"Tomorrow, I am too tilted now," Zakharyan mentioned before heading out of the tournament area.

Levani Rozomashvili

Levani Rozomashvili check-raised a bet by Jan-Peter Jachtmann on the J827Q river, but the German called with queens and jacks for two pair to get shown the A10105 for just a pair of tens with nut straight blockers.

Soon after, the two got their chips into the middle, but this time, Rozomashvili was all-in and at risk for 23,000.
