Neagoe Gets Value From Schnitzler
Level 29
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Elia Salerno raised to 1,700,000 with 150,000 behind and won the blinds.
Scott Reynolds then jammed his short stack and found no callers.
In the last hand of the level, Darius Neagoe raised to 320,000 from under the gun and Rene Schnitzler called in the cutoff. On the J♠7♦5♥ flop, Neagoe's bet of 425,000 was called and they checked the K♦ on the turn. Neagoe bet another 525,000 on the 4♥ river and Schnitzler called within a few seconds to get shown A♥J♦ for a pair of jacks with ace kicker, which won the pot for Neagoe.
It was also the Romanian who had bought all the T-5,000 chips during the hand for the chip race before the blinds went up in the next hand.
