Schnitzler Pulling Way Ahead
Level 34
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Darius Neagoe limped the button and Rene Schnitzler checked his option to the 10♦9♦3♦ flop, on which the latter checked. Neagoe bet 500,000 and then folded when Schnitzler check-raised to 5,000,000.
A walk for Neagoe followed.
Neagoe opened the next button to 1,000,000, and Schnitzler called. The K♠7♣2♥ flop saw Schnitzler check-call a bet of 600,000, and they checked through the Q♣ turn. On the 5♥ river, Schnitzler led 2,000,000, and that sent his opponent into the tank.
While Neagoe studied him, Schnitzler noticed it and said, "Ah, you try to read me? Just ask, I will tell you. I have eight-high."
Neagoe called a few seconds later but couldn't beat the 7♦5♦ for two pair by Schnitzler.
