Zdenek Zizka opened K♥Q♠ from under the gun and Iago Savino three-bet the cutoff holding A♣10♥ to 250,000. Jan-Peter Jachtmann on the button cold-called with9♥9♦, then Said Madani just called from the small blind holding A♥J♣, leaving 355,000 behind.
When it got back to Zizka, he used a time bank, and getting such a good price, he called.
Four players watched the 2♥3♣Q♥ flop hit the felt and it checked to Jachtmann, who bet 800,000. Madani called off his stack of 355,000, and both Zizka & Savino folded.
Zizka was shocked to see the hands when they were on their backs as he folded the best hand. Madani needed to find an ace or a jack to survive, but it was all over when Jachtmann made a set on the 9♣ turn. A meaningless 8♥ hit the river, and Madani headed to the exit.
