Vittek Rivers Two Pair Against Zapsa
Level 36
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Tudor Zapsa opened K♣10♠ from the hijack to 800,000 and Martin Vittek called on the button holding Q♦J♥. Sarah Link was in the big blind and called with 8♣2♣.
The flop of Q♠3♠K♦ connected with both Zapsa and Vittek, which prompted the latter to bet 1,100,000 once it checked to him. Link folded, and Zapsa called.
A 5♥ fell on the turn and both players checked to the J♠ river, which gave Vittek two pair. Zapsa checked and then Vittek went for a value bet of 1,225,000. Zapsa, with his top pair, took some time before he called, and then mucked when he saw the two pair of his opponent.
