Sarah Link Eliminated in 5th Place (€38,250)
Level 39
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Sarah Link made it 5,500,000 to go from under the gun, leaving herself just 300,000 behind. Jan Kohl then shoved the button, and when it got back to Link, she called.
Sarah Link: A♣10♦
Jan Kohl: 9♠9♣
It was a fair fight, but one that Link needed to win if she wanted to stay alive. A flop of 6♥4♣J♣ didn't offer much help, but she did pick up a few more outs on the K♣ turn with both straight and flush draws.
Unfortunately for Link, the 6♦ river was a brick, which left her on the sidelines in fifth.
