Sagkinian Turns Topic into a Slowroll Story

Level 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Vagke Sagkinian
Vagke Sagkinian

Vagke Sagkinian opened to 22,000 from middle position and Marko Topic shoved from the cutoff. When it got back to Sagkinian, he asked for a count and was informed it was 196,000. After leaning back in his chair, taking a peek at the clock, and pondering for a while, Sagkinian decided to call.

Marko Topic: AK All in
Vagke Sagkinian: AA

"Nice slowroll," said Topic, who looked extremely confused as to why Sagkinian took so long to call preflop.

Topic was asking for some hearts, but the 8J94K board left him drawing dead by the time the turn card hit the felt. On the other hand, Sagkinian's stack vaulted up to almost 800,000.

Oh My Ghosh Pocket Aces

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Asish Ghosh
Asish Ghosh

Asish Ghosh and Bogdan Roman got all of their chips into the middle preflop with Ghosh being the player at risk.

Asish Ghosh: AA All in
Bogdan Roman: 1010

Ghosh's aces took a commanding lead on the A58 flop by improving to a set. The 10 turn gave Roman a glimmer of hope, but a 5 to complete the board wasn't the card he was looking for, and a large portion of his stack was sent over to Ghosh.

Tepeh, He Score Knockouts

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Tjan Tepeh
Tjan Tepeh

Tjan Tepeh raised to 30,000 under the gun before Renato Ardelean moved all in for 245,000 in the hijack. Tepeh took a minute and eventually called to put Ardelean at risk.

Renato Ardelean: AQ All in
Tjan Tepeh: AJ

Ardelean had Tepeh dominated until the AJ4 flop gave Tepeh two pair. The J turn improved him to a full house, and Ardelean was drawing only to a chop as the 6 completed the board on the river to send him to the rail.

At another table, Dong He had a raise of 75,000 in front of him from the hijack and Mantas Stravinskas moved all in for 260,000 in middle position. He called.

Mantas Stravinskas: 1010 All in
Dong He: JJ

He spiked a set on the AJ8 flop, while Stravinskas picked up a straight draw on the Q turn. The 7 river was no help to Stravinskas as he joined Ardelean at the payout desk.

Frey Finds a Miracle on the River

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Daniel Frey
Daniel Frey

Daniel Frey raised to 30,000 in the cutoff, Tjan Tepeh three-bet to 80,000 on the button, and Frey called.

The flop came KQ6 and Tepeh bet 40,000. Frey called and the 8 fell on the turn.

Tepeh then bet 70,000, Frey moved all in for 330,000, and Tepeh snap-called. Tepeh turned over AA, while Frey could only show KJ for a pair of kings and was already up from his seat and putting on his jacket going to the river.

The dealer turned over the J and Frey loudly clapped his hands together as he made two pair to crack Tepeh's aces and earn him a fortunate double up. He stopped to snap a photo of the board while Tepeh cut out the chips to pay him off.
