Sturz Flushes Casagrande
Level 16
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Harry Casagrande raised in the cutoff and was called only by Markus Sturz on the button while the blinds folded. On the 10♣6♠3♥ flop, both checked before Casagrande bet the 3♠ turn for 17,000, Sturz called.
They checked the K♠ on the river and Casagrande declared aces, showing his A♥A♠. "Flush," Sturz replied and Casagrande shook his head instantly. Sturz first showed Q♠J♠ and then added "but it was a nice hand" before also exposing the 9♥8♥.
"On the flop I fold, I had nothing. But I was thinking about potting the river," Sturz added while collecting the pot.
