Giovanni Giudice Eliminated in 16th Place (€6,000)
Ratmir Kesidis limped in from early position and Giovanni Giudice made it 300,000 to go from middle position. Oleh Okhotskyi was in the small blind and four-bet to 780,000, which got Kesidis to fold, but Giudice called after using a time bank.
A flop of 9♥8♥A♦ hit the table and a continuation-bet of 540,000 came in from Okhotskyi, which Giudice called to the 4♠ turn. A snap-shove then followed from Okhotskyi, and two time banks later, Giudice called off his stack of 1,400,000.
Giovanni Giudice: A♣Q♣
Oleh Okhotskyi: A♠K♠
It was brutal for Giudice, who needed a queen on the river to stay alive, otherwise Okhotskyi would be a huge chip leader with two tables to go.
One player did improve on the river, but unfortunately for Giudice, it wasn't him as the K♦ gave Okhotskyi two pair and the huge pot.
