Matula Finds Tough River Call
Level 22
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Miroslav Matula limped from early position, and Mateusz Kaniowski completed in the small blind, before Matan Mesika knuckled his option in the big blind.
Action was checked to Matula on the J♠6♣4♣ flop, who fired out a bet of 25,000. Only Mesika called.
The 2♣ turn was checked to the J♥ river, where Mesika led out with a bet of 40,000.
Mitula called after a bit of thought, and saw his 3♦3♠ for two pair, jacks and threes, was good versus Mesika's A♣5♦.
