Zhou Doubles Up
Level 2
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Atanas Malinov opened to 1,200 from middle position and was called by Quan Zhou in the hijack and Andre Marques in the cutoff.
The flop came J♣Q♥9♣, and after Malinov checked, Zhou bet 1,500. Marques folded, while Malinov made the call to see the turn.
The Q♣ paired the board, and Malinov checked again. Zhou moved all in for his remaining 3,600, and Malinov called.
Malinov showed A♠J♥ for two pair, queens and jacks, but Zhou had K♣K♠ for the better two pair. The 9♦ on the river changed nothing, and Zhou secured the double-up.
