Sacchi Holds to Send Wang Out
Level 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Benjamin Chalot opened to 80,000 from the hijack. Action folded to Chaofei Wang in the small blind, who moved all in for 570,000. Daniele Sacchi in the big blind took some time before announcing his all-in for around 760,000. Chalot stepped aside, and the two went to showdown.
Chaofei Wang: 4♦4♠
Daniele Sacchi: 10♥10♦
Wang needed help from the board to stay in the tournament, but the runout of A♦9♣8♦K♥9♥ gave him nothing. Sacchi’s tens held, sending Wang to the rail and adding more to his stack.
