Lyman Doubles Again

JP Kelly was in the small blind and moved all in against Jack Lyman's big blind. Lyman found a hand to call with holding the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and stuck in his chips. Kelly's {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} was dominated.

The final board of {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} ensured a double up for Lyman who is now up to about 250,000 in chips. That's much better than the less than seven big blinds he began the day with. Kelly dropped to 240,000.

Finally, the Headphones Come Off

Tournament Director Jack Effel has just asked three of the final table players to remove their headphones. In the States for the WSOP, you cannot use headphones when you make it to the money of an event. Here in London, the rule applies once you hit the final table.

Lyman Doubles Up

Mehdi Senhaji raised to 16,000 and Jack Lyman moved all in for 53,000. Senhaji made the call and the cards were on their backs. Lyman's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} was up against the {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} for Senhaji.

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{A-Clubs} and Lyman was able to double through to 126,000. Senhaji dropped to 328,000.

Nicky Katz Eliminated in 9th Place (£10,633)

Nicholas Katz - 9th Place
Nicholas Katz - 9th Place

From middle position, Nicky Katz raised to 21,000. Defending champion JP Kelly made the call from the big blind and the flop came down {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Kelly checked and Katz fired 25,000. Kelly made it 63,000 to go and then Katz moved all in. Kelly made the cheap call for only a little bit more holding the {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a double-gutshot straight draw. Katz held the {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and completed an unbeatable straight for Kelly. The river ended things officially with the {5-Hearts}.

Katz finished in ninth place and earned over £10,000 for his finish. Kelly moved himself one step closer to glory with that elimination.
