Joseph Spanne was seen getting up and walking away as his losing hand had been discarded while the winning hand of Frank Werder was showing as he was gathering all of the chips in the pot.
Shankar Pillai had gotten his remaining stack of approximately 900,000 in from the button and was at risk against Robert Damelian in the cutoff.

Pillai was in good shape as the flop kept him ahead. The turn gave Damelian a flush draw, however, and the spiked the river to complete that draw and eliminate Pillai on a bad beat.
The remaining 27 players are now moving around for the three table redraw.
Near the end of the dinner break, Shouyi Gao tried his luck by redeeming a mystery bounty from a previous knockout he scored. He reached in, pulled out the last $100,000 bounty, and rejoiced with his girlfriend on video chat.
Although the three $100,000 top bounty prizes have been found, there is still a $50,000 awaiting a fortunate player, as well as a few $25,000 bounties.
As the players were getting ready to head off to dinner break, David To got the room's attention as he pulled one of the remaining $100,000 grand prize bounties.
Yonnas Abate opened to 110,000 in the hijack and Shankar Pillai moved in almost all of his approximately 650,000 chips on the button, leaving just a single pink T-5,000 chip behind. Action folded back to the Abate who called.
The duo checked the flop to the turn, and Abate check-called for Pillai's remaining chip.

Pillai was ahead, and the river kept him in front to secure the double.
Danny Wong kept doubling to stay alive but eventually his luck had to run out. Wong moved all in for 660,000 from under the gun and was called by Quang Vu in middle position. The remaining players got out of the way and Wong was at risk.

Wong, though behind, did have two live cards. He was unable to hit, however, on the runout, bringing his tournament to a close.
Tamer Kamel opened to 85,000 from middle position and was called by Roscoe Light in the small blind as well as a player out of the big blind.
Both blinds checked to Kamel on the flop and he continued for 100,000. Light responded with a raise to 435,000, getting a fold from the big blind but a call from Kamel.
Light checked after the turn and then snap called when Kamel moved all in.

Light was in great shape to score the double, needing to fade sevens and nines heading to the river. He did just that after the rolled off the deck to improve Light to the nut flush.
