Yesterday (June 10) at the 2025 Wynn Summer Classic saw the $10,000 Seniors event reach the end of late registration, confirming a prize pool of $950,000 and playing down to a final eleven.
Meanwhile, the $1,600 No Limit Hold’em event, with a massive $2,500,000 guarantee, played two more Day 1 flights.
Hang Xu Leads $2.5m Guaranteed Event After Day 1C & 1D
Hang Xu.
After drawing in 368 players on Monday, the $1,600 No Limit Hold’em topped that with 537 entries on Tuesday.
Yesterday's turnout set the current prize pool at $1,294,150 and the field at 905 entries.
Today will see the last two flights of this event play out, and those final numbers resolve.
The Day 1A & 1B chip leader was Craig Mason, who hauled off a bag of 926,000 in chips.
However, the Day 1C and 1D flights have rejigged the top 10 chip counts so that Hang Xu has taken Mason's place with 943,000 in chips, putting Mason in second and Corel Theuma (879,000) in third.
The priciest event of the series so far, the $10,000 Seniors, saw the end of late registration early on in Day 2 of the tournament.
Once the gates closed, the number of entries was set at a nice round 100 players, resulting in a respectable prize pool of $950,000.
The day ended with a final eleven players confirmed for Day 3. Ernest Bush leads those players by a wide margin (with 1,178,000 in chips).
Bush's closest competition is Michael Lang in second place with 616,000 in his stack. But Lang has a lot of catching up to do with just a little over half the amount of chips that Bush has in his stack.
As a result, competition will be tough when the players return later today to play down to a winner.

Wednesday (June 11), was all about the $1,600 No Limit Hold’em event at the 2025 Wynn Summer Classic.
The final two flights of the $2,500,000 guaranteed event dominated the Wynn’s tournament space while the last two tables of the $10,000 Seniors No Limit Hold’em event played down to a winner.
Phong Nguyen Wins Seniors Event After Three-Way Chop
Ernest Bush came into the final day of the $10,000 Seniors No Limit Hold’em event with an overwhelming chip lead. His stack contained 1,178,000 in chips while the next biggest stack (in front of Michael Lang) contained just 616,000.
At the bottom of the pile, Konstantinos Nanos had the small stack with 113,000 in chips in front of him.
Despite his paucity of chips, Nanos was able to hang in on the felt while Michael Farris (10th - $23,750) and Curt Kohlberg (11th - $23,750) were knocked out, bringing the field down to the final table.
When the final table eventually reached the final three players, they struck an agreement for an even split. As a result of this deal, Phong Nguyen , Ernest Bush, and Jun Liu all earned $186,026 each.
Then they played on with Nguyen emerging as the final winner, earning himself one of the huge Wynn Summer Classic trophies to go with the cash.

Prize Pool Of $3.4m Up For Grabs In $1.6k No Limit Hold'em
Alexandre Reard.
With all six Day 1 flights tallied up, the prize pool for the $1,600 No Limit Hold’em came to $3,439,150. This is by far the biggest prize pool of the festival so far.
The vast majority of those funds came from the players who entered during yesterday’s Day 1E and Day 1F Turbo flights. The huge turnout brought the number of entries up to 2,405.
The number of survivors from all six Day 1 flights came to 298 players, all of whom will return later today for Day 2.
Their leader is Alexandre Reard with 1,200,000 in chips. However, he cannot get too comfortable, with so much to play for and Hang Xu close behind him in second place with 943,000 in chips.
