Day 2 Completed
The $400 No-Limit Hold'em two-day event at the Wynn Million series nearly doubled the $100,000 guarantee with $189,144 in the pot. Nobody collected a larger share of that prize pool than Justin Lapka, who took it down for $32,089 on Thursday.
Lapka, a two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner with nearly $1.3 million in live tournament cashes, defeated Adam Churnick heads-up at the final table to complete the victory. Churnick didn't go home empty-handed, however. He received $23,651 as a consolation prize for his part in a three--way chop that also included Dijamant Gashi, who earned $21,092 for third place.
The Wynn Millions series at Wynn Las Vegas will continue on Friday with Day 1b of the $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em ($500,000 guaranteed) at noon.
