The single odds bet works in conjunction with your pass line bet. If your pass line bet wins, so does your single odds bet. The payout for the single odds bet depends on the point number – 2:1 on points 4 and 10, 3:2 on points 5 and 9, and 6:5 on points 6 and 8.

Examples of Single Odds Bet in Action

Suppose you make a $10 pass line bet and the shooter rolls a point number, say 5. You can now place a single odds bet of $10 behind your pass line bet. If the shooter rolls a 5 before a 7, your pass line bet wins 1:1 (so you win $10), and your single odds bet wins at 3:2 (so you win $15). Thus, a total payout of $35.
