FanDuel Casino Signs an Exclusive Partnership With Love Island
FanDuel Casino and Zoo 55, part of ITV Studios, have formed an exclusive partnership that sees the record-breaking reality TV franchise Love Island land on North America's premier online casino. The collaboration will see several games launched on FanDuel, starting with the Love Island Reel Vibes slot machine.
Players in Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ontario can dive straight into the Love Island-themed action, with the Games Global-developed title becoming available in Michigan at a later date.
Ian O'Reilly, Vice President of Games at FanDuel Casino, said, "Love Island has become a cultural phenomenon with a deeply engaged, mobile-native fanbase, making it an ideal partner as we expand our portfolio of exclusive entertainment. With Love Island Reel Vibes, we're delivering a fresh, feature-rich slot experience that brings us the energy of the villa directly to our players—and this is only the beginning of a multi-year collaboration that will introduce even more exclusive Love Island content."
The new title introduces FanDuel players to a signature POWER COMBO™ mechanic, where players receive three distinct free spins features that can intensify as the game progresses. Colored scatters drive enhanced jackpots, while wild reels and multipliers across an expanded 6-row grid give Love Island Reel Vibes players more chances to win big.
"We are so excited to pair our record-breaking reality franchise with the massive gaming operator FanDuel," Steve Watling, SVP Gaming at ITV Studios, said. "It has been a pleasure to work on this deal with the team, and we not only have a cracking first game launching this month, but some really cracking games to join the fun in 2026. We can’t wait to see this partnership grow," Lex Scott, VP Gaming, added.
Love Island initially launched on British terrestrial television in 2005. Initially, it featured 12 single celebrities who spent five weeks on an island in Fiji, with the final couple winning £100,000. However, ITV cancelled the show in 2006.
A grand relaunch in 2015 revamped the show, removing the celebrity element and pitting contestants against each other in a weekly public vote. The new-look Love Island has been an incredible success for ITV, resulting in the launch of careers for now-household names Dani Dyer, Molly-Mae Hague, and Chris Hughes.
The latest series concluded on August 2, 2025, with Cach Mercier and Toni Laites emerging victorious, defeating Harry Cooksley and Shakira Khan to claim the title and the £100,000 top prize. An average of 2.38 million people watched across the series.
