Ivey Busted by Mizrachi

Phil Ivey eliminated
Phil Ivey eliminated

All good things come to an end and this one involves Phil Ivey's tournament. Not all is lost though, as Ivey can now enjoy the gorgeous island outside the casino walls. In other news, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi has a ton of chips now after sending the most feared player in the game to the rail.

On the flop of {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, Mizrachi fired 1,000. Ivey fired back with a "Hey buddy, I made the November Nine a year before you did!" raise to 4,000 and Mizrachi called.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and Mizrachi fired a nice, small bet of 1,000. Ivey pumped it up to 10,000 before Mizrachi tossed in a "You may have eight bracelets, but I won the $50,000 Player's Championship pal!" reraise to 30,000. Ivey took his headphones out of his ears, getting serious about the situation, and made the call. Then before the dealer dealt the river card, Mizrachi put Ivey all in dark.

The river completed the board with the {7-Spades} and Ivey called off his last 60,000 chips. Mizrachi tabled the {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a set of threes and Ivey mucked his hand. Mizrachi was pushed the pot and now has a field-leading 385,000 chips.

It must be nice to be Mizrachi. WPT titles, a $50,000 Player's Championship gold bracelet, a November Nine appearance; what's next, a Merit Cyprus Classic High Roller title?
