Action folded to Mike Sowers on the button and he raised to 105,000. Bertrand Grospellier folded in the small blind while Joe Ebanks opted for a three-bet from the big. He made it 275,000 total, Sowers called, and the flop came down {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Ebanks led out for 275,000, Sowers called, and the {3-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Ebanks simply moved all in, and much to the crowd's surprise, Sowers made the call.

Sowers: {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Ebanks: {K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Sowers was ahead with top pair, but Ebanks held a double-gutted straight draw on top of a flush draw. When the {9-Diamonds} spiked on the river and gave Ebanks the said flush, Sowers graciously stood from the table and shook hands with the entire final table.

Sowers was eliminated from the tournament in sixth place while Ebanks took the chip lead with four million.
