Van Alphen Doubles Through Ravn
A massive hand just took place that has seen Niels van Alphen climb past the one million chip barrier.
Mickey Petersen opened the betting with a raise to 50,000 and Aage Ravn three-bet to 125,000, something that has happened on numerous occasions so far today. Next to act was van Alphen and he four-bet shoved for 528,000 in total, immediately folding out Petersen but Ravn looked like he was going to call; and he did!

Ravn made the call with just a pair of deuces and van Alphen looked set to double up. The 
flop was ideal for the kings of the Dutchman but the 
turn drew some "ooohs and aaahhs" from the crowd as Ravn had a spade in his hand. The dealer burned a card and put out the river.....
