Volpe Regains Lead

Level 27 : 0/0, 60,000 ante

Hand #221

Volpe limped into the pot, before Lieu bumped it up to 50,000, which was called. The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, as Volpe checked his option. Lieu bet out 70,000, and Volpe called. The {3-Clubs} fell on the turn, as Volpe again checked over to Lieu, who also checked. The {10-Diamonds} completed the board, as Volpe checked. Lieu quickly reached for chips, and threw out 170,000, which was called.
Lieu tabled his {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a rivered flush, winning the hand.

Hand #222

Both players limped into the pot, before the flop came down {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Both players checked the {9-Hearts} on the turn as well as the {6-Spades} on the river. Lieu tabled his {9-Spades}{3-Spades} for a pair of nines, which was good for the pot, after Volpe turned over his {k-Spades}{4-Spades} for king-high.

Hand #223

Volpe opened to 35,000 and was called, as the flop came down {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Volpe placed out a continuation bet to 45,000, which was enough to take the pot.

Hand #224

Lieu limped in, as did Volpe, as the two saw the flop come {4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Lieu checked over to Volpe who bet 35,000, which was called. The {5-Clubs} fell on the turn, as Lieu checked. Volpe bet out 110,000, which was called, before the {j-Diamonds} completed the board. Lieu checked for the final time, as Volpe thought for a moment, before finally betting out 235,000, and Lieu quickly called.
Volpe showed the {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a straight, which was the winning hand against Lieu’s {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} which had made two-pair on the turn.

Hand #225

Volpe limped into the pot, before Lieu made it 60,000. He was called as both saw the flop come {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Both players checked, as the {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Another set of checks brought the {j-Clubs} on the river. Volpe bet 25,000, which was called as Volpe showed his {j-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a pair of jacks, which was good to win hand.
