Selbst Continues Domination, Eliminates Kurganov

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Igor Kurganov - Eliminated
Igor Kurganov - Eliminated

Igor Kurganov moved all in before the flop for his last 301,000 and Vanessa Selbst called from the next seat over. The rest of the table folded and the hands were tabled to reveal that the two were racing for Kurganov's tournament life.

Selbst: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Kurganov: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Kurganov retained his lead. Fourth street, however, spelled disaster for Kurganov, as it brought the {6-Diamonds}, putting two pair on the board and counterfeiting his lower pair. The {k-Hearts} finished off the board and Kurganov was sent packing in eleventh place. Selbst scored yet another knockout, increased her stack to 3.2 million, and is continuing her sick run here on Day 2.
