Brader Makes a Tough Call

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Heinz Traut raised under the gun to 10,500 and Amir Farhangi called from the cutoff after which Thomas Brader three-bet to 30,500 from the button. Both blinds folded and both Traut and Farhangi decided to call.

The flop brought out {3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and the action was checked to Brader who bet 37,000 and only Farhangi made the call.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the river the {4-Clubs} popped up and Farhangi lead out for 58,000, which put Brader in a tough spot. After about two minutes he made the call and his opponent showed {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Brader tabled {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and his pair of kings took down the pot.
