Level 17 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante
Rick Salomon
Rick Salomon

Hand #89: Brandon Steven raised to 450,000 from the small blind and Rick Salomon called from the big. The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} and both players checked. On the turn the {7-Spades} popped up and Steven won the hand with a 450,000-chip bet.

Hand #90: Brandon Steven raised to 500,000 from the button and Rick Salomon three-bet all in for a ton of chips to put both Gabe Kaplan and Steven under pressure. Both players folded and Steven showed his {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Salomon showed {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} as he raked in the pot.

Hand #91: Rick Salomon raised to 500,000 from the button and Christoph Vogelsang called from the big blind. The hand was checked down on {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Vogelsang showed {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} to take the pot down.

Hand #92: From the cutoff Rick Salomon raised to 525,000 and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet from the small blind to 1,450,000. Salomon called right away and the flop brought {6-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}, on which both players checked. The turn was the {8-Spades} and Vogelsang checked again. Salomon bet 1,520,000 and his German opponent tanked for quite a while before making the call.

On the river the {5-Clubs} popped up and Vogelsang checked again. Salomon bet 3,100,000 and Vogelsang tanked for a long time before folding. Salomon showed {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a completed bluff and the look of agony on Vogelsang's face was very clear. Steven applauded Salomon's move as he's one of the chip leaders of the tournament.
