Second APPT Title Looming For Razavi?

Sam Razavi after winning the APPT Grand Final

We agree, it's still very early to make predictions but British pro Sam Razavi just pointed out that his start here today is very similar to the successful one he had in Melbourne two years ago.

Sam RazaviJust starting level 2 of #APPT Seoul.

In August 2012 Razavi managed to take down the APPT Grand Final after beating a field of 257 to lock up the A$326,125 first-place prize. Since this huge score Razavi has been a cashing machine, as he finished in the money in tournaments ranging from Cambodia to Scotland and the Philippines to the Isle of Man.

Cashing in this tournament would be Razavi's 100th live tournament cash, but he won't add a new flag to his impressive list of results as he's already done well in plenty of tournaments in South Korea. Razavi has cashed in 18 different countries so far, which puts him tied for eight on the 'most countries cashed in' list. The chase for the number one spot on that list will be a tough one as Casey Kastle leads the way with 35 countries followed by Dominik Nitsche and Team PokerStars Pro Marcel Luske at 23.
