KingKobeMVP — 642,861

Alex "mahoney3" Todd — 370,711

Zach "nofingclue11" Clark — 263,740

After an hour and twenty minutes, EPT Grand Finale champion Glen "Choron" Chorny was the first eliminated from the final table, during the 8,000/16,000/2,000 level. Matt "MCMATTO" Affleck opened the action with a raise to 40,000 from middle position and Chorny called out of the big blind. The flop came 7105 and Chorny checked to Affleck, who bet of 68,000. Chorny check-raised to 198,099 and Affleck went all in with the bigger stack. Chorny called all in for 505,699 with K10, but was in dire straits against Affleck's 77 for the set. The turn and river came 54 as Glen "Choron" Chorny finished in ninth place for $39,000.

KingKobeMVP headed for the exit at 10,000/20,000/2,500. Much of KingKobeMVP's stack was lost with QQ against Zach "nofingclue11" Clark's AJ, all in preflop. An ace spiked on the turn and KingKobeMVP was down to two big blinds. Clark finished the job a few hands later as KingKobeMVP exited in eighth place for $66,000. Alex "mahoney3" Todd departed at 12,500/25,000/3,125. Skint Paddy raised to 70,000 on the button and Todd went all in from the big blind for 317,836, which Skint Paddy called with A10. Todd tabled A3 and needed help, but it didn't come as the board fell 61056Q. Alex "mahoney3" Todd took seventh place for $96,000.

Ruben "rubenrtv" Visser went to the rail at 15,000/30,000/3,750. Matt "MCMATTO" Affleck raised to 75,000 under the gun and Visser popped it up to 120,000 with a min-raise. Affleck called and the flop fell 648. Visser led out 212,250, but Affleck raised to 675,000. After a few moments Visser went all in for 1,377,623, and Affleck called with the 87 for top pair and multiple draws, having good odds against Visser's overpair with 1010. The 4 turn card kept Visser ahead, but the 3 landed on the river to give Affleck a flush. Ruben "rubenrtv" Visser collected $126,000 for sixth place.

Skint Paddy busted next at 17,500/35,000/4,375. Affleck raised to 105,000 in the small blind and Skint Paddy shoved for 946,361 with A9. Affleck called and tabled a leading AJ. Skint Paddy took the lead on the flop as it came 937, but the J fell on the turn to give Affleck the lead. The river was the K and Skint Paddy's tournament was over in fifth place for $156,000.

Day one chip leader Alex "hadouk3n" Melnikow fell next, at 20,000/40,000/5,000. He was in the small blind and raised to 110,000, and Zach "nofingclue11" Clark re-raised to 288,888 from the big blind, with Melnikow shoving for 852,456. Clark called and tabled 77 to Melnikow's AJ. The flop came 9K7 as Clark hit his set, but Melnikow picked up a flush draw. However, the turn and river fell 210 as Alex "hadouk3n" Melnikow pocketed $223,500 for the fourth-place showing.

The three survivors then discussed a deal, and after much tweaking to the chip-count chop numbers, terms were agreed upon. Each player was guaranteed the following amount, with $60,000 and the champion's watch left for the winner.

Matt "MCMATTO" Affleck — $410,500

Zach "nofingclue11" Clark — $390,000

Jamie "pokerjamers" Armstrong — $380,000

Play resumed and Jamie Armstrong was eliminated shortly thereafter. Matt Affleck opened to 95,000 on the button and Zach Clark re-raised to 280,000 in the small blind. Armstrong shoved from the big blind for 1,661,014 with JJ. Only Clark called, holding AQ. The board ran out 710K8Q as Clark spiked the river queen to felt Jamie "pokerjamers" Armstrong in third place for $380,000.

After starting the final table as the short stack, the knockout left Clark heads-up for the title. He began heads-up play at 2:3 chip disadvantage, but was able to capture the lead. At 30,000/60,000/7,500, Clark had a chance to win. Affleck went all in with KQ and Clark was ahead with AJ. However, the board ran out Q7K82 and Affleck doubled through to a commanding 8:1 edge. Affleck took it down a few hands later. He min-raised to 120,000 and Clark made it 1,080,000, essentially going all in. Affleck re-raised and Clark called all in with A5, which trailed Affleck's A8. The board fell 677102 to keep Affleck ahead and end the six-and-a-half-hour final table. Clark collected $390,000 as the runner-up.

Matt "MCMATTO" Affleck's win in SCOOP Event #8-Hi was worth $470,500, following the chop. He entered Day 2 in 13th place, but it proved to be far from unlucky as he emerged victorious in the biggest event of the SCOOP series to date.
