The Sunday Briefing: Colman Wins WCOOP HU High Roller; Stacked Sunday 500 Final Table

The Sunday Briefing

It’s been a big week for online poker, most notably due to the long-awaited launch of WSOP.com in Nevada. While residents and visitors were busy checking out the new site in Sin City, players around the world took to the virtual felt to partake in Sunday’s major online tournaments in PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.

In addition, the 2013 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) continued through the weekend, though just one tournament — Event #44 $10,300 High-Roller Heads-Up – concluded on Sunday. That tournament attracted 61 runners and culminated with a stacked final four that included Alexander “Sussie Smith” Roumeliotis, Daniel “mrGR33N13” Colman, Martin “0PIGGYBANK” Finger, and Jacob “Lottenice” Rasmussen, though you’ll have to read on to see how they did.

Here's a look at the results from the Sunday tournaments at PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker:
