The Sunday Briefing: Bracelet Winner Robert Cheung Wins PokerStars Sunday Million

With the 2013 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) in the books, PokerStars brought back its regular Sunday tournament slate this week. The Sunday Million and Sunday Warm-up returned to the schedule for the first time in a month, and both picked up right where they left off by smashing their guaranteed prize pools.

Four players earned six-figure scores in the Sunday Million after a five-way ICM deal at the final table. After the negotiations were settled, Canadian businessman and 2007 World Series of Poker bracelet winner Robert "Runninggreat" Cheung (pictured) emerged victorious to collect a prize of $127,340. The biggest earner in the event was "yurasov1990," who locked up $139,121 as the chip leader when the deal was struck.

Others scooping big paydays on Sunday were Dylan "Poker)evilL" Hortin, Brandon "norjean" Meyers, Ondrej "Vinkyy" Vinklarek, Marty "TheLipoFund" Mathis, and Aleks "Berkyy" Brkovic, who made two major final tables at PokerStars. Brkovic finished eighth in the Sunday Warm-Up and then won the Sunday 500 for $58,045.
