Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer is coming off an incredible summer at the World Series of Poker. The German mixed-games superstar captured not one, but two bracelets this year, and currently sits in second place in the WSOP Player of the Year race behind his friend Brandon Shack-Harris.
But there’s much more than Danzer than his poker accomplishments. Danzer love tasting different wines, watching European football, and styling his Mohawk. He discussed all of those things and much more during a recent Google Hangout with PokerNews and the Global Poker Index.
Danzer also expressed his opinion about the Dan Colman controversy that stole headlines after the Big One for One Drop. Colman said very little following his $15 million score, but according to Danzer the 24-year-old is a big trash talker during their heads-up matches online.
"If he talked to [live players] like he talks to me in the chat (box), he's definitely going to get beaten up in the parking lot,” Danzer joked during the interview.
