Kristina Lehtimäki Wins the 2015 PCA Women's Event

There is a great debate about whether ladies only events are good for the game or not. Some debate that they help to bring women into the game, while others - like poker pro Maria Ho - think that women would be playing anyway, and ladies events take away from the diversity of the field in other events.

Whether you like ladies only events or not, they are here to stay. Last week, Finland's Kristina Lehtimäki won the $600 buy-in PCA Women's Event for $8,902. Although the field size was only 54 players, it wasn't a soft field with Team PokerStars SportStar Fatima de Melo, Team Online's Adrienne 'talonchick' Rowsome and Katerina 'Katerina289' Malasidou, and Sara Chafak.

The PokerStars blog titled PCA 2015: Women's Event champion Kristina Lehtimäki is 1-for-1 not only talks about how Kristina is 1-for-1 in poker tournaments lifetime at the PCA, but also is 1-for-1 in tournaments outside her native country of Finland.
