Brayden Fritzshall Keeps Rolling, Chops Battles at the Beach 0001

Brayden Fritzshall continued his torrid start to 2015, banking $98,000 on March 30 as part of a three-way deal that ended the 2015 Battles at the Beach Main Event at Isle Casino Pompano Park in Pompano Beach, FL.

William Kakon, an accomplished tournament player with nearly $500,000 in live cashes entering the event, took home more than $120,000 and the trophy as part of the deal that ended play, Fritzshall said. Fritzshall officially finished third, while Carlo Rodriguez officially finished second, cashing for $98,200.

The $1,200 buy-in event drew 579 runners, creating a prize pool of $619,530, easily surpassing the $400,000 guarantee.

Fritzshall, a professional player from nearby Boca Raton, added to a 2015 that is shaping up to be a career year. Just weeks ago, the Mexico-based player who plays under "BRAYDEN93" online took home the second-biggest prize after a seven-way chop in the Sunday Million 9th Anniversary on PokerStars. A chip-based deal while he was in fourth saw him get $497,719.60 before he tacked on another $100,000 for winning. Read more about that monumental event here.

Other notable names among the 54 to cash in the five-day event, which featured three Day 1 flights, included Danny Suied (34th), Manny Minaya (32nd) Zo Karim (29th), Lily Kiletto (26th), and Justin Zaki (18th).
