Sharelines
  • The partypoker WPT500 UK starts Saturday, Oct. 31, at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, UK.

The World Poker Tour will hit Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) in Nottingham, UK, on Saturday, Oct. 31, with the DTD Day 1a of the WPT500 event. Boasting a £1 million guaranteed prize pool and giving away 50 WPT UK Main Event seats, this event comes with an affordable £550 buy-in and will feature five starting days at Dusk Till Dawn.

Plus, there's the partypoker WPT500 Player Party taking place at DTD with an exclusive DJ set by Donny Mizrachi. The WPT's Royal Flush Girls, the partypoker Girls, and the DTD Girls will all be on hand for the festivities, as will other Mizrachi brothers to join Donny as he rocks the Titty Twister Bar starting at 10 p.m. local time and running late into the night.

As if that's not exciting enough, another £1 million guarantee will be up for grabs in the 2015 partypoker WPT UK £2,200 Main Event starting on Nov. 3. This event will feature two starting flights with four levels of late registration and reentry allowed on Day 1b for those that bust on Day 1a.

Last season's WPT UK event attracted 354 entries and saw Lithuania's Matas Cimbolas walk away with a £200,000 top prize. He defeated an official WPT final table that included Ben Warrington (2nd), Tamer Kamel (3rd), Antoine Saout (4th), and Patrick Leonard (6th). Also going deep in the event were Luca Moschitta (7th), Sylvain Loosli (10th), and Adrian Mateos (11th).

PokerNews will be on hand to provide live coverage of this event, plus produce updates from the £5,250 High Roller that takes place Nov. 2-3. Another highlight of the series will be the £10,250 Super High Roller taking place Nov. 6-7.
