Brian Altman Seeks Second Tour Title Atop 2015 WPT Montreal Main Event Final Table

Brian Altman

It took a little over six hours to establish an official World Poker Tour final table of six players on Day 4 of the 2015 partypoker.net WPT Montreal Main Event from Playground Poker Club. The day began with 16 players, but in the end only half a dozen remained.

Trevor Delaney started out as the chip leader by a good margin when play resumed at noon local time, but he found those chips to be slippery as they escaped his grasp, mostly to the stack of Brian Altman. Delaney ended up finishing in 13th place for $25,810., whereas Altman soared up the leaderboard.

Altman, the only WPT Champions Club member at the final table, took over the role as chip leader early in the day and mostly held onto it through to the end of play. He counted and bagged 8,460,000 in chips for the final day, and that's a solid margin over anyone else.

Trailing by a good bit was Darryll Fish with 5,160,000, and Rainer Kempe sat in the third spot with 2,955,000.

The bottom three spots were filled by AJ Gambino (1,625,000), Carter Swidler (1,395,000), the only Canadian on the final table of this Canadian WPT stop, and Jared Mahoney (1,260,000).
