For the second consecutive year, 888poker will be the presenting sponsor for the Super High Roller Bowl, Poker Central announced in a press release.

“Poker Central’s productions offer high-level poker action with world-class poker players," said 888poker's Itai Pazner. "The Super High Roller Bowl is an extremely prestigious event which is followed by a wide and varied audience of poker fans around the world. We are thrilled to be renewing our ongoing partnership with Poker Central and look forward to what will no doubt be an epic event."

The Super High Roller Bowl, set for its third annual running at ARIA Resort & Casino, is a $300,000 buy-in freezeout event being billed by Poker Central as the biggest buy-in event of the year. Initially announced with a 35-player cap, organizers decided to expand the capacity to 56 players due to high interest from prospective players.

This year's Super High Roller Bowl runs May 28-31, leading into the World Series of Poker. Confirmed participants include Doug Polk, Fedor Holz, Bryn Kenney, Erik Seidel and David Peters, as well as past champions Brian Rast and Rainer Kempe.

In 2015, Rast won the event for $7.5 million, while Kempe claimed a $5 million top prize last year. The winner is expected to bank $6 million this year.

The 888poker sponsorship will also cover "additional upcoming Poker Central events" that have yet to be announced, the press release said.

“We look forward to expanding our great relationship with 888poker and working toward our common goal of growing the sport of poker,” said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central.
