Once again, it was a very busy day at the 888poker XL Inferno Series.

In total, there were 13 events scheduled and they all played down to a winner. The highlight of the day, the Inferno Event #47 - $50,000 8-Max, started at 8 p.m. GMT. Players competed for a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000. Other special events on Day 4 were scheduled after midnight, the XL Inferno #52 - $20,000 Americas and the XL Inferno #53 - $5,000 Turbo Americas.

XL Inferno #47 - $50,000 8-Max

In this event, players started with 10,000 chips and blinds increased every 20 minutes. In total, 840 players registered for this tournament and create a prize pool of $84,000. This was divided with 112 places paid with the first-place prize of $15,540.

After just seven hours, this tournament reached the final table of eight players, each securing themselves at least $1,276. "panBajors" took this money after busting in eighth place. "K7MA1121" followed him in seventh place ($1,890). "MrNorberto" finished in sixth for $2,940.

Thailand's players "KimberSlice" and "AcesJoker88" then left in fifth ($4,200) and fourth ($6,300) place. "tjappie123" was the last player leaving before the heads-up started between "THEKIDm8" and "mne_d0edet1." "mne_d0edet1" was the luckiest, or best, in this tournament and he won it for $15,540. The Brittish runner-up had to settle for an amount of $11,197 in prize money.

XL Inferno #41 - $10,000 Lightning 6-Max

Not for the first time this series, there was a $109 $10,000 Lightning 6-Max on the schedule. This time, there were 133 players who registered to create a total prize pool of $21,200. The first prize of $5,512 went to Czech Republic's "Achileys3" who won the tournament after eight hours and 53 minutes.

XL Inferno #42 - $15,000 Breeze

Also, a common event on the XL Inferno Series is the $15,000 Breeze with a buy-in of $55. In total, the tournament saw 482 players compete for the first prize of $4,579. After more than nine hours, Brazil's "FellipeD92" defeated "carbondating" in the final heads-up to secure the victory.

XL Inferno #43 - $15,000 Deepstack Swordfish

The XL Inferno #43 - $15,000 Deepstack Swordfish attracted 889 players to get a prize pool of $24,447. The lion's share of this money, $4,400, went to Latvia's "Kraukliz" who was crowned the winner after 11 hours and 40 minutes of play. "jeanjrg1" from Brazil lost the final heads-up and finished in second.

XL Inferno #44 - $20,000 Crocodile

XL Inferno #45 - $15,000 Swordfish

XL Inferno #46 - $20,000 Monsoon

Another tournament that isn't new to the XL Inferno Series is the $20,000 Monsoon. On Wednesday, 780 players competed for a total prize pool of $39,000 and the first prize of $7,156. Brazilian "TheHueyLewis", who already finished third in Event #45, took the victory and the earlier mentioned first prize.

XL Inferno #48 - $10,000 Mini 8-Max

The XL Inferno #48 - $10,000 Mini 8-Max was a Ukrainian party because "under_fire" and "888poker172" both made it to the final heads-up. 888poker172 defeated his fellow countryman and won the tournament for $2,687.

XL Inferno #49 - $35,000 Wednesday Challenge

XL Inferno #50 - $15,000 Tornado

For Dutch player "grownupguy83," it was a pretty successful day. He defeated Germany's "weltmaschine" in the deciding heads-up in the XL Inferno #50 - $15,000 Tornado. He took the first prize of $5,138. The German had to settle for $3,704.

XL Inferno #51 - $10,000 Turbo 8-Max

XL Inferno #52 - $20,000 Americas

For the players in another timezone, 888poker organized the XL Inferno #52 - $20,000 Americas. The tournament, with a buy-in of $160, started at 12:59 a.m. GMT and 132 players took their chances in this event. They did 68 rebuys to create a total prize pool of $30,000.

After just more than eight hours, when the sun was already up and shining in most countries, the tournament reached the final stages. "888_de" and "joga_pra_cor" made a deal, where 888_de took $6,045. He wasn't crowned the winner; joga_pra_cor defeated him and took $5,655.
