2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Begins Nov. 3 in Niagara Falls

Poker players are about to flock to Western New York when the Seneca Niagara Poker Room plays host to the 2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic from Nov. 3-13.

The nine-event schedule is filled with huge guarantees, beginning with the $100,000 Guaranteed $300 No-Limit Hold'em opening event with four separate starting flights over two days, one starting at 10 a.m. and a second at 6 p.m. on Nov. 3-4. Players bagging chips will compete for one more day on Nov. 5 until a winner is crowned.

Main Event Guarantees $200,000

The highlight of the poker festival is the $1,000 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event from Nov. 11-14. The tournament guarantees at least a $200,000 prize pool.

Last year's event, won by Dan Wagner for $64,882, witnessed 300 entrants generating a massive $264,810 prize pool.

The event begins with two opening flights at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10 and Nov. 11 with player beginning with a healthy stack of 30,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 40 minutes.

Surviving players will compete in an even deeper structure on Day 2 on Nov. 12 with blinds increasing every 60 minutes before they increase again to 90 minutes when the final table takes place on Day 3 on Nov. 13.

For a second straight year, the Main Event has been made part of the CardPlayer Poker Tour. This means that in addition to the winner receiving the lion's share of the prize pool and the trophy, he or she will also be featured in an upcoming edition of CardPlayer Magazine.
