The Latest partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Main Event Has ₽300 Million Guaranteed

The Sochi Casino & Resort in Sochi, Russia is the luxurious venue chosen to host the upcoming partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Russia festival, which feature a Main Event boasting a ₽300 million (approx. $5 million) guaranteed prize pool.

MILLIONS Russia has 13 events scheduled with buy-ins starting at ₽33,000 and increasing all the way to ₽6 million; the latter is reserved for the ₽6 million buy-in Triton Super High Roller.

It is the ₽300 million guaranteed Main Event that is capturing the imagination of poker tournament players from around the globe. There is an online Day 1 held at partypoker on Aug. 5 and this is followed by three live Day 1s held at the Sochi Casino & Resort on Aug. 7-9.

The five-day Main Event is going to be huge. When partypoker LIVE last ran the MILLIONS Russia Main Event, some 999 players turned out for it. Alexsandr Gofman ensured that the winner’s trophy stayed on home soil as he emerged victorious after a heads-up battle with Spain’s David Laka Calzada to get his hands on the equivalent of $1 million.
