US Online Briefing: 'NguyenMoon32' Wins $29K

It was another huge day for online poker players on Sunday but none bigger than that of "NguyenMoon32", who won the WSOP.com $100,000 GTD Sunday for $29,177.

Read on to learn how this player and many more won big on Sunday.

Here's a full look at the Sunday results at partypoker NJ, BorgataPoker.com, PlayMGM, WSOP.com NJ, WSOP.com Nevada, 888poker NJ, and the three 888poker clients in Delaware.

WSOP.com $15,000 Kick-off

The $15,000 Kick-off was the first major event to get underway at WSOP.com in Nevada and New Jersey on Sunday. The tournament featured $1,388 in overlay with 114 entrants, 122 rebuys, and 61 add-ons falling shy of the $15,000 guarantee. A total of 20 players cashed for a minimum of $240.

After more than 5 1/2 hours of play, "Lucky2bme" shipped the event for a healthy return of $4,200. Just missing out on the win was Krishna "ninjaGO" Kalisas, who instead walked away with the runner-up prize of $2,430.

WSOP.com $10,000 Weekly Sunday

After exactly 5 1/2 hours of play, "bedmonkey" outlasted a field of 105 entrants and 56 rebuys to win the WSOP.com $10,000 Weekly Sunday for $4,102 where a total of 20 players cashed for a minimum of $234.

Also securing four-digit prizes in this tournament were Anthony "Flawlessbink" Maio (third - $1,363) and Vladimir "Quasar" Alexandrov (fourth - $1,070).

WSOP.com $12,000 Weekly Sunday Deepstack

The WSOP.com $12,000 Weekly Sunday Deepstack nearly doubled its $12,000 guarantee with 190 entrants, 162 rebuys and 144 add-ons to generating a massive $22,568 prize pool. A total of 30 players cashed for a minimum of $205.

After 7 1/2 hours of play, "projector52" shipped the event for $6,093. This is the second time in the past two weeks this player has won a big tournament at WSOP.com as last week they shipped the $25,000 Weekly Sunday for $15,710.

Notable players at the final table falling short of the winner's circle included Michael "itWasThatOr0" Gagliano (third - $2,031), Brenton "Dudasdb" Duda (fifth - $1,354), and Michael "LeftSid3" Haberman Jr. (eighth - $542).

WSOP.com $100,000 GTD Sunday

The WSOP.com $100,000 GTD Sunday was once again the biggest event of the week at American-regulated online poker networks. A total of 243 entrants and 124 rebuys generated a massive $110,100 prize pool. A total of 35 players secured at least a min-cash worth $771.

After almost 7 1/2 hours of play, "NguyenMoon32" shipped the tournament for a huge top prize of $29,177. Remarkably, this player took fourth place in the same tournament last week for $8,976, which at the time was his or her biggest score at WSOP.com.

A trio of well-known Garden State grinders were also at the final table including Keith "T1mB3y_B33F" Donovan (fourth - $7,487), Michael "HankdaTank" St. John (fifth - $6,386), and Connor "NYR9414" Berkowitz (ninth - $1,872).

WSOP.com $50,000 Monthly Sunday

The WSOP.com $50,000 Monthly Sunday replaced the WSOP.com $25,000 NLH Sunday's 6 Max. The tournament featured double the buy-in along with double the prize pool of its replacement. With 67 entrants and 38 rebuys, the tournament also almost doubled its $50,000 guarantee by generating a $99,750 prize pool.

After more than 6 1/2 hours of play, "johnsonck" shipped the bacon and claimed the $28,928 top prize.

Jonathan "jetsfan14" Borenstein recorded his biggest cash at American-related online poker networks after finishing in second place for $16,948.

Meanwhile, Michael "itWasThatOr0" Gagliano earned his second mention in this week's report with a fifth-place finish worth $7,980.

A handful of players outside of the final table also cashed this event for at least $2,793.

BorgataPoker.com/partypoker/PlayMGM Sunday $35K GTD

The BorgataPoker.com/partypoker/PlayMGM Sunday $35K GTD provided extra value with $3,000 in overlay thanks to the 160 entrants (108 entries + 52 re-entries) falling short of the 175 entrants needed to meet the $35,000 guarantee. A total of 18 players cashed for a minimum of $438.

After almost 7 1/2 hours of play, Eric "alwaysliquid" Vanauken and Michael "IIIIIIIIIIII" Haberman Jr. agreed to a heads-up deal to collect $6,265 each.

Also winning big at the final table were Ted "roystalin" Ely (third - $3,815) and Brian "pure_reason" Wood (fifth - $2,695). Wood also appeared on the final table last week, finishing in third place for $3,815.

PokerStars NJ Sunday Special $35,000 Gtd

The PokerStars NJ Sunday Special $35,000 Gtd was back on track and met its $35,000 guarantee with 191 entrants (107 entries + 84 reentries) generating a $35,526 prize pool. A total of 27 players cashed for at least $355.

After more than seven hours of play, "TPR11" won the tournament for $7,638.

Michael "MartinChatwn" Lavenburg nailed down his biggest score of the week with a third-place finish worth $4,174, while Brian "Wsopboy1997" Sherrier finished two spots behind in fifth place for $2,132.

Michael "ForTheThr1ll" Haberman Jr. earned his third mention this report with a seventh-place finish for $1,421.

Meanwhile, the PokerStars Sunday High Roller was canceled this weekend but back on next week's schedule.
