Olivier Busquet Among Final 18 in Borgata Poker Open $1,090 6-Max; Almighty Stack Down to 21

Day 1 of the 2019 Borgata Poker Open Event #12: $1,090 Six-Max NLH drew 244 entries and surpassed the $150,000 GTD by creating a prize pool of $236,680. The final 24 players will all make the money and be guaranteed a minimum of $1,775 for their efforts. The eventual winner will take home $62,718 and the Borgata Poker Open trophy.

Leading the final 18 players with 541,000 was Chris O'Neil followed closely by Jeff Trudeau (535,000). Others still in contention are Hamid Izadi (339,000), Olivier Busquet (303,0000, Greg Fishberg (289,000), Christian Harder (277,000), and bracelet winners Justin Liberto (138,000) and Jessica Dawley (114,000).

The players will return on Saturday, September 14 at 12 p.m. with 5:05 left in level 17 (3,000/6,000/6,000 BB Ante) to play down to a winner.

Dean Curreri Leads the Final 21 Almighty Stack Players

Day 2 of Event #10: $400 Almighty Stack NLH came to an end with Dean Curreri leading the the surviving 21 players with 25,050,000. Curreri took the lead in the last of level of play after flying under the radar for much of the day.

Yingxin Chen sits in second with 22,600,000 and Patrick Ibrahim rounds out the top three chip stacks with 20,965,000.

The final 21 players will return on Saturday, September 14 at 12 p.m. local time to level 33 (200,000/400,000/400,000 BB Ante). Day 3 will play down to a winner.

Someone will take home $163,004 and the Borgata Poker Open Trophy.
