Roland Israelashvil Wins 2019 Borgata Poker Open HOSE; Almighty Stack Rolls On

On Wednesday, two more flights player out in the 2019 Borgata Poker Open Event #10: $400 Almighty Stack NLH. Day 1c attracted 402 runners while 1d brought in an additional 256 entrants. There have been 1,181 combined day 1a-d entries and there's already over $400,000 in the prize pool.

In Flight C, John Michalak and his stack of 1.556 million led the way. That was just behind Day 1b chip leader Sridhar Sangannagari (1,570,000) but just ahead of Day 1a leader Spencer Champlin (1,547,000). On Day 1d, it was Alex Lin coming out on top with 1,116,000 in chips.

Others to bag stacks between the two flights were Jingzhe Cao (1,367,000), Catherine Dever (923,000), Dave Kiccoyne (798,000), John Cosgrove (728,000), Adam Pease (754,000), and Eric Hayes (721,000), Jackie Scott (645,000), Chris Conrad (428,000), 13-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Maurice Hawkins (415,000), bracelet winner Jessica Dawley (352,000).

Approximately 270 Day 1a-d survivors will return to the Event Center on Friday, September 13 at 12 p.m. local time to resume Day 2 play.

The tournament is more than halfway to the $750,000 guarantee and the final two flights kick off Thursday, September 12 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. respectively.

Event 11 of the Borgata Poker Open was the $400+$50 H.O.S.E eight hand rotation. There were 63 total entries creating a prize pool of $24,444. .

When the dust settled Roland Israelashvili was the last man standing taking home $9,288 and the Borgata Poker Open trophy.
