NJCOOP Returns to PokerStars NJ with $1 Million in Guarantees

Poker fans in and around New Jersey are gearing up for the latest edition of the New Jersey Championship of Online Poker (NJCOOP) at PokerStars NJ which is set to run Oct. 12-28.
The festival features 50 action-packed tournaments with a combined $1 million in guarantees. This is a small increase from the 47 events on last year's schedule.
You don't have to be a resident of the Garden State to get involved either. The two main requirements to play real-money games at PokerStars NJ is to be within the state's borders while playing and also being at least 21 years of age.
2019 NJCOOP Schedule Highlights
The NJCOOP offers something for everyone with buy-ins ranging from $30 to $1,000. While most of the events are in no-limit hold'em, there are also plenty of other poker variants featured including pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha hi-lo, and mixed games.
The highlight of the festival is easily the $300 NJCOOP Main Event on Oct. 27-28. The tournament, which doubles as Event #43 on the schedule, provides plenty of value with a hefty $100,000 guarantee.
Other events with big guarantees include Event #5: $250 NL Hold'em [Sunday Special SE] with a $55,000 guarantee on Oct. 13, Event #15: $1,000 NL Hold'em [High-Roller, 6-Max] with a $50,000 guarantee on Oct. 16, and Event #27: $350 NL Hold'em [Sunday Special SE] with a $60,000 guarantee on Oct. 20.
2019 NJCOOP Promotions
PokerStars NJ celebrates its biggest festival of the year with some amazing promotions.
Players automatically get a ticket to the NJCOOP $7,500 Main Event Depositor Freeroll just by making a deposit of $50 or more using the "NJCOOP" bonus code. The tournament gives players a chance to play the Main Event for free with top 25 players awarded a ticket to the most prestigious event on the schedule.
Another great promotion is that PokerStars NJ will be hosting Second Chance Freeroll tournaments awarding $1,250 in NJCOOP tickets. Players get their tickets to these tournaments simply by not cashing in an NJCOOP event. This also includes not making the money from the main prize pool in knockout events. The only time this promotion will not be in effect is on the final day of the NJCOOP on Oct. 28.
All of the tournaments will of course feature satellite and feeder tournaments where players can get into an event of their choosing for a fraction of the cost. Another path for the Main Event is grinding away at NJCOOP Spin & Go tournaments featuring a buy-in of just $3.
