LearnWPT Instructors Dominate 2020 Online WSOP

The World Poker Tour’s team of instructors put up some impressive results online during this summer at WSOP.com. From deep runs to adding WSOP gold bracelets to their collection, the likes of Tony Dunst, Nick Binger and Andrew Lichtenberger have all had summers to remember!
Tony Dunst Wins 2nd Career Bracelet
We’re used to seeing World Poker Tour Commentator and LearnWPT Instructor Tony Dunst telling it like it is and covering the action from various marquee destinations around the globe. While Tony’s travels have been halted by recent events, he hasn’t lost his passion for poker and he’s directed that energy toward making deep runs online.
Playing online as “Panoramic”, Tony started the series off with a stellar performance and nearly captured bracelet number 2 after outlasting almost all of the 1,700+ entries in Event #1 with a third-place finish for $57,881.
On July 21st Tony was able to return to the final table and close out another impressive run when he captured his second career bracelet after defeating a 1,361-entry field and taking home $168,342.09 for his efforts in the WSOP Online Event #21: $777 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed.
Tony’s first bracelet came in 2016 in WSOP Event #63 ($1,000 NLH) for $339,254.
Last year Tony nearly won another bracelet when he finished 2nd in the 2019 WSOP $5,000 buy-in event for $374,886.

Nick Binger Wins 2nd Career Bracelet
LearnWPT Lead Instructor Nick Binger has dedicated much of the past five years to building LearnWPT.com and providing his students with tremendous value for their poker education dollar. Utilizing his experience as a professional poker player who has traveled the circuit and succeeded at the highest levels, Nick is able to break down poker concepts into easy to understand strategies. As President and Lead Instructor of LearnWPT, Nick oversees the curriculum and is constantly working to improve the experience for students.
In July, Nick took the opportunity to step out of the office and onto the virtual felt. It didn’t take long for Nick to return to form. On July 25th he captured his second career bracelet after defeating a 2,408-entry field and taking home $133,412.83 for his efforts in the WSOP Online Event #24: $400 No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed.
Nick won his first bracelet in 2011 in the WSOP Event #57: $5,000 Buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $397,2073 and has made several other WSOP final tables.
LuckyChewy Takes 3rd in the Main
When Andrew “LuckyChewy” Lichtenberger joined the roster of instructors for Team LearnWPT, he brought his unrivaled hand analysis skills and introspective thought process that makes LuckyChewy’s content a must on your poker training watch list. LuckyChewy is one of the original poker strategy content creators and his love for teaching is evident in each episode.
As a legitimate star of the game and a perennial grinder, LuckyChewy has batted for (and won) almost every major title in poker. No matter what the stakes or location, his ability to perform when it matters most shines through. The summer of 2020 has been no different.
While he didn’t come away with the gold, LuckyChewy did manage to book a large score of $140,167 for his impressive 3rd place finish in the $1,000 buy-in Main Event. Andrew won his first bracelet in 2016 in the WSOP $3,000 Buy-in Event #52 for $569,158 and also had a near miss at bracelet #2 with his 2nd place finish in the massive $50,000 buy-in high roller event #5 for $917,932.
