Last month, the World Poker Tour (WPT) announced its first U.S.-based online Main Tour event, the $3,500 WPT Online Poker Open Main Event, which boasts a $1,000,000 guarantee.
The WPT Online Poker Open Main Event will kick off this Sunday and run Dec. 27-29 on partypoker US Network. Anybody within the state of New Jersey may get in on the action across any of the three platforms of partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.
For those either in the Garden State or will be traveling in for the event, PokerNews is offering you the chance to win a $3,500 seat for free in our “Give the Gift of WPT” giveaway by using #GiveWPT on social media.

Starting today through the end of Christmas, poker players and fans can nominate someone to receive a $3,500 WPT seat into the WPT Online Poker Open Main Event on partypoker US.
Either write us a short note or compose a video and tell us why your nominee deserves a chance to play in the WPT Online Poker Open. Submit a video or note to PokerNews via Twitter or Instagram and be sure to use #GiveWPT.PokerNews will then select one lucky winner to receive the Main Event seat valued at $3,500.
You can nominate anyone eligible to play online in New Jersey for any reason. Tell us why your poker-playing friend or family member deserves to play the WPT this holiday season.
The seat is non-transferable and must be played. In addition, the player must have an online account on partypoker US Network (either on Borgata, BetMGM, or partypoker NJ) and that account must be in good standing (verified account and in good standing). PokerNews reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time for any reason.
