The Powerfest continues all this month on partypoker, and has just crowned another winner. Christoph Vogelsang, who currently sits behind only Fedor Holz on the German all-time money list, took down the Powerfest #19: $25,500 Super High Roller for just shy of $500,000.

Vogelsang Wins partypoker Powerfest POWERFEST #19: $25,500 Super High Roller ($469,691)

A total of 58 players entered the second Powerfest $25,500 Super High Roller, the biggest buy-in tournament of the festival.

Making it to the seven-handed final table guaranteed a player $69,634, but there were a total of nine players in the money with Joao Vieira and Matthias Eibinger receiving $63,075.

3Pascal LefrancoisCanada$188,132
4Shawn DanielsCanada$130,438
5David PetersCanada$96,574
6Teun MulderNetherlands$80,909
7Linus LoeligerAustria$69,634

Linus Loeliger and Teun Mulder both bust early, eliminated by Sami Kelopuro and Shawn Daniels respectively. Mulder's elimination was particularly brutal, flopping middle pair with {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, only for Daniels to go runner-runner with {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to make a flush on the {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} runout.

The big names were everywhere in this tournament, as Daniels then sent David Peters to the rail. However, despite eliminating two players so far at the final table, Daniels was next to be eliminated as his {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} ran into the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} of Pascal Lefrancois

The chain continued, with Lefrancois next to go at the hands of eventual runner-up Kelopuro.

With Lefrancois holding {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Kelopuro {q-Spades}{8-Hearts} the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} gave the Canadian top pair, whilst handing the Finn top and bottom pair. Lefrancois check-called 192,000 on the flop before check-raising all in on the turn {3-Hearts}. Kelopuro called and held on the {3-Diamonds} river to secure the elimination of Lefrancois.

A short while later, Christoph Vogelsang would double through Kelopuro and hold on for victory, the title along with $469,691.

Andersson Wins Powerfest #07: $25,500 Super High Roller ($480,082)

As mentioned, this was the second $25,500 Super High Roller of the festival, after Joakim Andersson triumphed just one week ago.

At a final table featuring big names such as Ole Schemion and Andras Nemeth, Andersson came out on top after battling against the aggressive Markus Leikkoner who would have to settle for second place.
