With a return of live poker hopefully on the cards, PokerNews wants to make sure that you are up to date on what players could be making a splash in events and tours during 2022. Over the next couple of months, we'll be taking a close look at which poker players we should be looking out for!
Kyna England
What a year it was for the Chicago native! Kyna England entered 2021 with just $21,000 in live cashes, but fast forward 365 days and England now has $770,000 on her resume, including the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Canterbury Park title ($186,709) and a third place finish at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Venetian ($448,755).
The poker world will find out in 2022 if she can sustain the heater and become one of the top female players in the game.
Ali Imsirovic
It was no secret entering 2021 that Ali Imsirovic was a talented pro. But if anything, he cemented his status as one of the top American poker players out there after dominating the High Roller poker scene to the tune of 14 tournament wins — eight more than anyone else. He was also crowned winner of the inaugural PokerGO Tour.

Just like Imsirovic, Sean Perry is another player who had a year to remember.
Like Imsirovic, Perry had a career year. He won six high rollers on the PokerGO Tour including the Venetian $25,000 High Roller for $365,500 and a $10,000 Poker Masters event for an additional $206,400.
In 2021, he saw his career live tournament cashes jump from $840,000 to nearly $4.7 million. Was 2021 a fluke for Perry or is he here to stay?
Brock Wilson
Just before the pandemic struck in early 2020, Brock Wilson appeared to be on the cusp of becoming one of the top tournament players in the world. In 2021, with live poker returning, he backed the hype up with results, continuing the heater he was on in late 2019.
Throughout the year, he cashed for over $1.5 million, and now we eagerly wait to see what sort of an encore he has in store in 2022.

Chad Eveslage
The past year was a memorable one for Chad Eveslage, but it appears he might just look back on 2021 as "just another year" a decade from now. Eveslage had been close to breaking out for quite a while before exploding in 2021 with nearly $2.3 million in cashes, including a WPT Venetian title that paid $910,000.
