$1 Million Guaranteed Short Deck Series Hits GGPoker From February 20-27

GGPoker's second Short Deck Series gets underway tomorrow on Sunday, February 20. Short Deck, often referred to as 6+ Hold'em, is a game where every card lower than a six is taken out, leaving just a 36-card deck. It was a game that originated in the high-stakes games of Macau and has since become one of the most popular variants of poker.
The online poker festival runs until Sunday, February 27 and is capped off by a $200,000 guaranteed $525 buy-in Bounty Main Event. In that time, there are over 100 events scheduled and at least $1 million in prizes will paid out across the series. In addition to the Main Event, there is a $52.50 buy-in Bounty Mini Main Event which also has it's own $100,000 guarantee.
As GGPoker is now home to some of the highest buy-in online poker tournaments, expect some huge names to take part in the several Super High Roller Short Deck events that are scheduled throughout the week.
On the opening day of the series, the Short Deck Super High Roller $10,300 buy-in gets going at 8 p.m. GMT. A half hour later, a slightly smaller $5,250 buy-in Short Deck Bounty Super High Roller will also take place.

GGPoker Bringing the Heat
This is the fourth poker tournament series announced by GGPoker in the last two months, as it looks to become the biggest player in the online poker sphere. The WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series played out on platform from December 12, 2021 through to January 9, 2022.
The WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series saw 18 WSOPC rings dished out as well as Jifeng "Snakey" Huang from Hong Kong taking down the WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series Main Event for a cool $664,725.
Next up for GGPoker was the double-length edition of Super MILLION$ Week which saw $40 million guaranteed across the series.
Once the Short Deck Series wraps up, a huge $150 buy-in $5 million guaranteed freezeout tournament is scheduled on Sunday, March 20 as part of the ongoing GGMasters.
