888poker Joins the Poker Against Pollution Campaign
The 888poker LIVE Barcelona festival is the first time 888’s partnership with ECOSEC comes into place. ECOSEC is a provider of tamper evident security solutions. Ahead of the Barcelona festival, 888poker is replacing the standard overnight chip bags with ECOSEC’s biodegradable bags that allow the tournament staff to store the players’ chips without the use of single-use plastic.
888poker’s initial purchase removes approximately 130 kilograms of plastic from circulation and goes some way to help 888 achieve its goals of having net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
